Alfons has been traditionally used for fine cuisine in noble frame – Since 27 December 2017 Alfons is the luxury label of wide Schuhbeck gastronomy. Of course no traditional “gourmet temple” stiffness, but internationally trendy casual fine dining: sophisticated cuisine in an accentuated relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen is managed by Maurice Kriegs, who himself - after six years of Schuhbeck - worked with the three-star chef Christian Bau and became acquainted with the brilliant French Japanese cuisine. The former Munich traditional Boettners has now been modernized to Schuhbecks Fine Dining.

Alfons Schuhbeck's cuisine has been holding a star in the Michelin Guide for over 30 years. Alfons has just been awarded a star for 2018. The kitchen of the star chef in Alfons combines European and Asian tradition.
Alfons Schuhbeck has formed the German gourmet landscape like no other: the star chef has already written numerous cookbooks and acts as gastronome, TV master chef and entrepreneur. In the year 1989 Schuhbeck was honored by the gourmet guide GaultMillau as "Chef of the year", numerous other awards followed.
